Notes on some African Histerini (Coleoptera: Histeridae)

Taxonomical and systematic status of some African Histerini was analyzed. The following new synonymies have been established: Hister calabaricus, H. ovatulus and H. torridus with H. tropicus, Hister chaloti with H. aequatorius, Hister sibuti with H. tropicola and Atholus luctuosus with A. rubricatus. Lecto- and paralectotypes for some species are designated.
