Two new synonyms are proposed, Callistomimus suturalis Fleutiaux, 1887 syn. n. = Callistomimus dicksoni C.O. Waterhouse, 1884, and Trichis ceylonica (Ball & Hilchie, 1983) syn. n. = Trichis maculata Klug, 1832. Callistomimus dicksoni C.O. Waterhouse, 1884 is for the first time recorded from Laos and Vietnam. Photographs of the habitus of the type and additional material are provided.
