CELE I MISJA
The Baltic Journal of Coleopterology publishes original articles on all aspects of beetles (Coleoptera), with particular emphasis on the faunistics, distribution, taxonomy, ecology, biology and conservation of beetles in the Baltic Sea catchment area and from other regions of the world.
The journal aims to advance knowledge of beetles (Coleoptera) by publishing original, scientifically rigorous research covering all aspects of coleopterology. The journal places particular emphasis on studies of the fauna, distribution, taxonomy, ecology, biology and conservation of beetles occurring in the Baltic Sea catchment area, while also welcoming significant contributions from other regions of the world.
The journal provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge among researchers working in entomology, taxonomy, ecology, biodiversity and conservation biology. It seeks to contribute to a better understanding of beetle diversity, species distributions, ecological relationships and evolutionary patterns, as well as to the documentation and conservation of beetle fauna.
Through the publication and dissemination of high-quality research, the journal supports the study, monitoring and conservation of beetle diversity and promotes international scientific cooperation in the field of Coleopterology.
