Five new synonyms are established: M. silvatica Mikhailov, 1977 syn. n. = M. tricolor (Gebler, 1845); M. klapperichi (Jedlička, 1956) syn. n. = M. grandinella (Semenov, 1889); M. afgana (Jedlička, 1956) syn. n. = M. grandinella; M. buettikeri (Mateu, 1986) syn. n. = M. castanea (Klug, 1832); M. yemenita (Mateu, 1986) syn. n. = M. castanea.
