On the genus Zabromorphus Lewis, 1906 (Coleoptera: Histeridae) and related genera

The taxonomical and systematic status of the species of Zabromorphus was analyzed. New genera are created: Errabundus for Hister ignavus and Zabromorphus deflexus and Tineatrix for Hister holubi as well as a new species is described, Zabromorphus confusus. The following new synonymies have been established: Zabromorphus sculpticollis = Z. longicollis, Hister bierigi = Z. deflexus, Z. parvus = H. humpatanus, Z. csikii = H. paganus, Z. pinguis = Z. rivalis and Z. quagga = H. viduus. Lecto- and paralectotypes for some species are designated. A key to the species of Zabromorphus and Errabundus is given and all the species of Zabromorphus, Errabundus, Tineatrix and the species retransferred to Hister are catalogued.
