The occurrence of carabids in yellow plates in the Bialowieza Primeval Forest

This article represents the results of research carried out using a nontypical method of carabids capturing - yellow plates, assigned to catching flying invertebrates visiting flowers of forest floor. This method, despite of a low capture rate of individuals showed 31 carabid species, of which nine where not revealed using traditional methods, such as: Barber traps, Netocia, Biocenometr. The low capture rate of carabids was conjoined with the microdifferentiation of the the Bialowieza Primeval Forest environments.
