On fauna of leaf beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) and seed beetles (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) of Kaliningrad region (Baltic coast)

A check-list of Chrysomelidae and Bruchidae found in Kaliningrad region is provided. At present the list includes 252 species (Chrysomelidae - 244 spp., Bruchidae - 8 spp.). During sampling periods (April-May 1989-2002) there were captured 57.8 % of real inhabitant species in nature. Other data (105 species) are cited by the latest German work (Bercio, Folwaczny, 1979). The comparative characteristic of Chrysomelidae species' composition on Zehlau Bog and in entire Kaliningrad region is also presented in the paper.
