Calomicrus eocenicussp. nov. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae) from Baltic amber

A new leaf-beetle species, Calomicrus eocenicus sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae) is described from the Baltic amber. It is the first species of tribe Luperini described from fossil resins. A new paleoendemic species is compared with recent species of the genus and differs from them in distinctly larger and deeper elytral punctation and brownreddish body with dark brown head.
