                Abstract

The article contains the first, detailed description of the larva and the pupa of Bagous nodulosus Gyll. I present the diagnostic characters of the Bagous nodulosus larva and pupa. The paper provides complete life-cycle and remarks on the ecology, biology and distribution of the species. B. nodulosus is a univoltine species with summer development stage and wintering imagines. This rare and endangered weevil may have the essential importance as a good protective species because of its habitat preferences.
