Two new species of the genus Margarinotus Marseul, 1853 (Coleoptera: Histeridae) from Far East

Two new species of Margarinotus Marseul, 1853 are described: M. (Ptomister) thai sp. n. from Thailand and M. (Paralister) periphaerus sp. n. from Central China. M. (P.) thai sp. n. is the first representative of the subgenus Ptomister Houlbert et Monnot, 1923 in Thailand and M. (P.) periphaerus sp. n. extends the general distribution of the subgenus Paralister Bickhardt, 1917 into Central China.
