Abstract
The efficacy of Anethum sowa leaf extract in acetone was assessed on development and stored grain damage caused by Trogoderma granarium (Everts). The extract was found effective to suppress oviposition and adult emergence. Oviposition, incubation, larval, pupal and developmental period delayed with the increase in the dose level. Seed loss was reduced significantly at higher dose levels as compared to control. At S/100, percent loss in seed weight was 13.60, whereas it was 53.40 in control.
